Winter Cheese Box
Get cosy with the ultimate cheese fix for the cooler months.
Our Winter Cheese Box features four of our favourite seasonal cheeses - a mix of soft and hard styles - made for fireside grazing, long lunches, or a night in.
We’ve paired them with our Bread & Butter Pickle and Pepperberry Onion Relish - the perfect companions to add a little tang, spice, and depth to your cheese board.
SAINT 160g
In the central plateau of France there are a number of cheeses that are all named after the local Saints. Like our Saint, they are all surface ripened, soft oozy cheeses with a light bloom on the rind – not a thick carpet of single strain white mould found on more commercial cheeses. This cheese can be eaten younger, when the inside is still firm and the flavour more delicate, or wait until the curd breaks down completely and the flavour gets more pungent.
O.D.O 160g
It stands for One Day Old and that is what it is. A simple curd cheese that is simply drained overnight, lightly salted and then when it is only a day old is marinated in olive oil flavoured with garlic, chilli, black pepper and chives.
RAW GEORGE 130g
Raw George is crumbly, savoury and with a salty bite. Made in large 5kg wheels, George ages slowly and develops a stronger flavour profile, with intense umami and slightly brothy notes. George delivers great length of flavour.
OTTO 160g
A fresh One Day Old cheese wrapped in slices of local prosciutto, that you bake in the oven until the cheese goes all gooey, and the prosciutto goes all crispy. Serve it up with crusty bread and a leafy salad, and dinner is sorted.
BREAD & BUTTER PICKLE 270g
This is one of my all time favourite pickles. I love it with everything, especially hard cheese and in toasties for the kids! Great with cold cuts too.
PEPPERBERRY ONION RELISH 270g
The relish's sweetness and tang are paired with the Tasmanian pepperberry's characteristically delayed but intense peppery heat. Include our Pepperberry Onion Relish in your next cheese board or charcuterie for a delicious peppery hit, while adding a dollop to even the most basic of sandwiches is enough to turn it gourmet!
