Pickled Walnuts
Coaldale's Pickled Walnuts beautifully balance vinegar with sweetness and spice. They are lovely served on crackers with hard or soft cheese or as part of a ploughman’s lunch with cold meats. You can chop them into mashed potato, crumble over scrambled eggs or add to countless other creations to add a beautiful depth of flavour.
Coaldale pick green walnuts in summer before the shell forms and pickle them whole in a unique blend of sugar, vinegar and spices. They use a local cider vinegar, produced by Spreyton Cider Co.
Please note: At checkout, you’ll be asked to choose your preferred dispatch date for Christmas orders: the 2nd, 9th, or 16th of December. You may also select immediate dispatch for the next upcoming Monday. However, please be aware that some items are available exclusively for Christmas dispatch.
Beer and wine are shipped separately from cheese and will arrive a few days later.
