Soft Cheese Lovers Box

This box brings together four generous portions of our two soft, surface-ripened cheeses: Saint and 1792, along with a 130g jar of Our Pepperberry Apple Paste. With two of each cheese, it is made for soft cheese lovers who want to taste the contrast between creamy, bloomy-rind Saint and the deeper, more aromatic character of 1792.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

• Saint, 190g x 2
  A soft, oozy, surface-ripened cheese with a delicate bloomy rind and creamy, buttery centre. It takes its cue from the Saint-named cheeses of central France, with a distinctly Tasmanian character.
• 1792, 190g x 2
  A washed-rind cheese matured on aromatic Huon Pine boards. Regular brine-washing develops its pinky-orange rind, complex savoury flavour and unmistakable aroma.
• Our Pepperberry Apple Paste, 130g
  Apple sweetness balances the distinctive spice of Tasmanian pepperberry, making it a natural addition to a soft cheese platter.

ENJOY AT THEIR BEST

These cheeses are delicious at different stages of ripeness. Enjoy them younger for a firmer texture and gentler flavour, or wait until the curd has softened right through for a richer, more pronounced character.

The Best Before date is a guide to peak ripeness, not an expiry date. We recommend serving each cheese around, or a little after, that date to enjoy its fullest flavour.

MAKE IT A TASTING

The included Pepperberry Apple Paste brings apple sweetness and Tasmanian pepperberry spice to both cheeses. For the full experience, add a bottle of Whey Stout to pair with Saint, and Farm Ale with 1792.
