Sapphire Blue
Grandvewe's Sapphire Blue is a beautiful complex, robust blue made in small batches which vary in strength depending on the ewe milk’s seasonality. With age, Sapphire Blue has a typically Roquefort-esque acidity with a spicy, sea-salty bite and at times shows hints of smoked meat on the finish.
Texturally, Sapphire Blue varies from crumbly through to smooth and creamy, but it’s pretty perfect at any point.
Please note: At checkout, you’ll be asked to choose your preferred dispatch date for Christmas orders: the 2nd, 9th, or 16th of December. You may also select immediate dispatch for the next upcoming Monday. However, please be aware that some items are available exclusively for Christmas dispatch.
Beer and wine are shipped separately from cheese and will arrive a few days later.
